Responsibilities

The Senior Analyst, Quality Performance helps HarmonyCares improve care quality and value-based performance by turning complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights. The analyst monitors and forecasts results across Medicare Advantage Stars, HEDIS measures, Medicare ACO programs, and payer contracts, identifying key risks and opportunities and helping clinical and operational leaders determine where to focus. This role reports to the Director of Quality Operations and works closely with Quality, Clinical Operations, Analytics, Technology, and health plan partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyze and forecast quality performance across measures, contracts, markets, and providers, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop dashboards, analyses, and executive summaries that clearly communicate performance drivers and recommended actions
  • Translate CMS, NCQA, and PQA quality measure specifications into clear reporting requirements and monitor relevant program changes
  • Validate the accuracy of quality data, including supplemental data submissions, payer reconciliations, and audit support
  • Partner with clinical, operational, analytics, technology, and health plan teams to resolve issues and support targeted interventions
  • Manage multiple priorities independently and maintain accountability for accurate, timely deliverables
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, health informatics, public health, business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in consulting, healthcare analytics, or population health, including experience with HEDIS measures, Medicare Advantage Stars, or Medicare ACO quality programs
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working proficiency in SQL, including querying, joining, and validating large datasets
  • Experience analyzing claims, clinical, supplemental, or care-gap data
  • Familiarity with quality measure specifications, performance forecasting, and data-validation methods
  • Experience with Databricks, Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable data-visualization platform preferred

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Training or certification in data analytics, healthcare quality, or project management
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field
