The Why Behind Wellvana:

The Manager, Reporting Analytics is a senior hands-on individual contributor responsible for producing SQL-based reporting and business intelligence dashboards that support ACO performance, quality measure tracking, cost trend analysis, and risk adjustment and stratification. This role requires deep technical execution and healthcare domain expertise, along with the judgment to triage ambiguous stakeholder requests into clear deliverables.

What's Expected:

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain SQL-based reporting and business intelligence dashboards for risk stratification, patient attribution, quality measure performance, cost trend analysis, ACO benchmarking, and risk adjustment and stratification
  • Manage multiple concurrent reporting projects across healthcare and clinical data, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Maintain documentation and quality standards for own analytical outputs and support the team in developing documentation and quality standards

Project Management

  • Triage inbound reporting requests and reframe them into clear, prioritized deliverables
  • Validate reporting logic against business context before delivery

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Act as a reliable point of contact for Product, Finance, and clinical stakeholders on reporting needs
  • Communicate findings clearly to varied audiences, using data visualization where helpful
  • Partner with peers and product owners to design effective reporting solutions
Requirements

What's Required:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Public Health, Health Informatics, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related field
  • Advanced degree is a plus

Years of Related Experience

  • 5+ years of relevant analytics experience.

Skills/Competencies/Behaviors

  • A track record of delivering reporting/analytics projects from concept to delivery
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and Excel, including efficient query writing and maintainable reporting pipelines
  • Experience using BI tools for report development (Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, Power BI, Sigma, etc.)
  • Experience working with claims, Medicare data, care management data, EHR/clinical data, and/or ADT data
  • Understanding of relational databases, risk adjustment, and common healthcare code sets (ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCPCS)
  • Knowledge of modern data engineering best practices for analytics, including version control and testing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
